Eagle Crest: Built 1943 in Vancouver & owned 1978 by Reginald V. Banks of New Westminster. Off the Canadian register since 2008. Here she is at Annieville on the Fraser River
she is now on the bottom some where in the salish sea,so I’m told.
As a teenager in the 1970’s, I worked the McCallum Sales fish camp in Tofino when Reg was a day fisherman with the Eagle Crest. He was a loud, very funny and memorable character.
I remember the Eagle Crest….the owner was known as “Curly”…quite the joker! He regularly played practical jokes and was always the center of attention in restaurants…almost got us kicked out once! Good times…lol!!
this fine boat is now at the bottom of the salish sea, position unknown.
