My brother bought this boat about 3 years ago he brought down to everett did a bunch of work on her painted it all up and got it ready to fish its now in se alaska fishing good boat Im kind of looking for a troller myself thanks michael

Thank you for the update. It is nice to keep tabs on these great boats. And congrats to Alaska to managing their fishery so well that there is still work for a boat like this.

I purchased the F/V West Foreland from Pat Forrest of Sooke, B.C., in the spring of 2010. Currently I am fishing her as a state registered power troller in SE Alaska. As you most likely know builder was William Grundison, 1965, and Frank Fredette was the designer. Powered by a Gardner 6LW with a Capital transmission, on my three trips through BC’s Inside Passage it seemed wherever I tied up people knew or knew of the boat. She’s solid, sound and a great troller for SE Alaska.
