Tanu Warrior 1952, Candian registry says built by Nelson Brothers but looks like one of those Haida-built boats funded by Nelsons and later seized by them.
This was my dad, Willis Royal Crosby’s boat until he fell ill in 1987. A Haida, born in Skidegate Haida Gwaii, who had fished all his life since the age of 14 years, lived until 2009. He provided some details of his life as a fisherman, and trained his son, Willis Crosby Jr.
Hello All…. I am the current owner of the Tanu Warrior. It was built by a father/son team of George and Peter Jones of Masset B.C. By all accounts it was a very popular and successful vessel Working up to 2006, the Tanu Warrior has many voyages defy in her blood…..
