Fished on Shirley Lore back in 1989 or 90. Sadly she was owned by one of the fish companies who hardly took care of their boats. We were taking on water as we were leaving Vancouver just under the Lion’s Gate bridge. Pumps going full and I went to the folkshole to investigate. You could see daylight through the boards and when she got up to speed water would start pouring in. Took them a week to get it ready to go fishing. Quiet summer that year, spent most of it in the north. Came back to town and she went back in for repairs and we fished the Cape Dorset for the rest of the year. Nice to see her getting a second life.
